Holt and North Norfolk
Holt is a Georgian town in North Norfolk, four miles from the coast. It is an excellent centre from which to explore all that North Norfolk has to offer. Holt itself has much to keep the visitor happy - art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, delicatessens, craft shops and various places to eat - coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.
Holt has a supermarket and several butchers, fresh fish shops, green grocers, bakers, several take aways, fish and chip shops and newsagents.
Holt has an Anglican church (St Andrew the Apostle) and a Methodist church. The Holt Country Park is nearby with colour coded paths for all to enjoy. Holt is the home of Gresham's School, founded in 1555.

The town is surrounded by several pretty villages, undulating and wooded countryside and the Glaven Valley leads the visitor to the coast with its vast, open skies.
There are buses to various local towns, coasthopper buses and buses to Norwich.
